Sold the Cobra

A guy bought it last week and I miss it but atleast I still have 89. Now if I could just get my 89 back, its in the shop waiting for the lentech valve body and recalibrated converter. So I'm carless at the moment. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif I'm looking to get a truck again, anyone know anything about the Nascar truck? There are a couple for sell around town. Guess I need to change my signature *sniff*

Get me up to date here... why'd you sell the snake? If I missed it in an older post I apologize. I hope to own a Cobra someday so it always pains me to see someone part with one http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/frown.gif

Man, I would have a hard time selling a 97 Cobra. Solid Axle, 4.6L DOHC...it must really suck.

Atleast you had the oppertunity to own and drive one. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif

My exgirlfriend talked me into trading my 99 Z71 ext cab for the cobra last Sept. Ever since I have been going crazy from not having a truck, selling the 89 was not an option(then what would I be buried in http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/biggrin.gif). I got tired of having to either borrow a truck or just plain going without, my dog loves to ride and the poor girl hasn't had a ride in almost a year.

Anyhow I have a plan, buy a less expensive truck, sell the other non-essentials and put all my effort(money) into my house and hopefully have it paid for next summer. Then I can save and pay cash if I decide to get another one, though I think the 2003 mustang may be the way to go. Never the less, turning to page 116 in the Sept. MM&FF gave me a deep sinking feeling in my stomach..

I haven't read MM&FF yet, what did it say?

That's cool. I want one pretty bad but it'll be a while. My wife and I are in the process of putting in a bid on a nice house with an oversized two-car garage. That way my ponies will have somewhere to rest at night.

On page 116 and 117 is a 97 Rio Red Cobra vert, except for the rims and a couple little things(cobra in my grill, windshield banner, sticker on side..) that is what I had. Only 3088 of those verts made, only around 500 were rio red. The guy that bought it already has a black 96 cobra with only 17k miles and he rode his R1 when he came to see mine! Not to mention his wife has a suv and I delivered the car to a 2 story house with a 2 car garage. Man!! I think he was 26 and a pilot in the service.. anyhow.. I don't have those huge payments anymore.
