some home Pc questions

I just entered the modern world and got a cable modem

anyways I can hook it up to my playstation to play online but I need some info. How do I find out my IP adress, and my DNR?

then 'run'
then type in 'winipcfg' and press the 'enter' key

make sure to select thr proper device if you are on a LAN.

your DNS or Domain Name Server is the ip addy of the computer that will be finding the webpages for you. it will usually be supplied by your ISP.
