I just entered the modern world and got a cable modem:o anyways I can hook it up to my playstation to play online but I need some info. How do I find out my IP adress, and my DNR?

click start
 
then 'run'
then type in 'winipcfg' and press the 'enter' key

make sure to select thr proper device if you are on a LAN.

your DNS or Domain Name Server is the ip addy of the computer that will be finding the webpages for you. it will usually be supplied by your ISP.
