Default Lookey what we stumbled upon in the middle of the deserts of AZ!!

I couldn't see everything in there because we didn't have a 4x4 to go offroad, but it was still pretty cool to find it.

Nice find.

Make friends with somebody on base with chopper clearance, and pay him off to buzz the place with you and your camera. How much trouble could that get you in?

Let us know what you can see.

Was this up near Phoenix? I have read that Ford has their proving grounds near Phoenix....wonder if that was it?

I'm about 3 hours away from Phoenix. And this place was about an hour (the other direction) from me, so it's not really near Phoenix unless you consider 4 hours close. It was out in the middle of no where really. Not many people live out there, and it's not advertised at all. Some say it's no longer used, but others still say they see trucks come in once in a while carrying vehicles. There was nobody I could see there. There was one motorhome pulled into one of the garage bays on the other side of the fence, but that was all. I'll try to keep somewhat of an eye out and maybe I'll get lucky and find something.
