That is pretty cool. But I wouldn't want my wife THAT into cars. Cause then I would have to buy her a car, and then we'd fight over what little mod money I have ![]() |

![]() O.K. guys....What more do you want from us?
We cook, clean,do yardwork and you want us to work on cars too??? Do you help with housework? If you do I applaud you, if you don't, maybe you should help around the house, that would free her up to learn some stuff if she is interested...Unless you are like Belle, She's got it made...Hi sweetie!! ![]()

![]() Man, I love it!
I need to put that pic on my wall and frame it. ![]() I give so much respect to a woman who can work on her own car, even if it's only just something simple like changing oil or spark plugs, without being all like "eeeeewwwwww gross, my hand has grease on it, yuckie!" ![]()

![]() well I guess I'm a lucky guy!! My wife enjoys learning about cars and helps me when I need another set of hands. Heck, I remember when I had just been stationed here in CA, and she was still in AZ waiting for the movers to come, she had trouble getting the motor to turn over. She replaced the battery, but that didn't fix it so she called a friend over and he said the starter was dying. So my wife went to autozone, bought a new one, installed it, and it's been working ever since.

Well, it looks like I made you guys think a little...hummm.... ![]() What a lot of the the guys really want is not so much a girl to work on their car but a girl that will share their interest in cars and not be afraid or reluctant to get under the hood and learn as well as help without complaining. Of course, if the same girl asks the guy to go shopping with her later, he usually isn't too responsive to that request. Point being that both sexes want their boyfriend/girlfriend to share in as well as respect their interests, as those interests are part of who they are and when you show a real desire to get involved with those things with each other, even if you have to try something new and learn about things that you may not have considered before, it shows a real respect and commitment to the other that is totally endearing. This is why guys dream about a girl that will be 'into cars' with them, not just riding around and cheering them on in races but being concerned with how the car's running and what mods 'they' can add next. While girls dream of a guy that will wash a dish, vacuum a floor or even - gasp - attend a crafts show or just go to the mall and shop for a few hours with them and not be bored to tears or afraid he'll look 'gay'. Acceptance and respect is a big factor in relationships but often overlooked while we focus on what we need and/or want while subconsciously resenting that our partner doesn't really share our important interests. If you can each find that elusive 'happy medium' and do things that the other enjoys - without acting like you're a martyr - you've got it made. |

![]() Correct me if I'm wrong, but that photo was stagged.
I have no doubt that you work on your own car, but I highly doubt you were working on it at the moment that picture was taken. |
