I'm happy with my B&M Ripper, it's pretty solid.

you will not get burned by any aftermarket shifter with positive bolt stops. I have the hurst billet and i love it, but names that you might want to stick with are hurst, pro 5.0, b&m, steeda, and so on. most of these shifters features a self-centering system to make 2nd to 3rd easier to hit. good luck

I have the MAC racers Choice shifter and it works nice. Its about $40 less than the others. Not much to screw up with a shifter, anything is better than the flimsy stocker.

ive got a pro 5.0 its strong as hell and i love it but the only thing is that its very far forward. i cant even take cds out of my player if its in 1, 3, 5. i thnk hteres an off set handle available but im not sure. thats why i like the tri-ax's design.

another vote for the ripper!
sn95, i stripped my t handle on my old hurst going to 3rd, and cost me a race with a cobra, it was worse than the stock shifter, and too short, the ripper is perfect for my driving habits, and i have a mac knob. btw i took the cobra later that night
