A German on the Forum ...
... just joined Mustangsworks today and wanted to say "Hi".
I have had US built Fords since 19 years now. Mostly trucks, but also a few others. I still have my very first Ford, a 1954 F100, which started to be a project more than 18 years ago and I am still not done. My latest addition is a 1967 Mustang Convertible (289-2V / C4). The latter as well as my interest in SBFs are the reason why I joined here. Here's my world: If you wanna see more then check my little web site at ... http://www.ford.gmxhome.de Thanx for listening and hope you don't mind having a German on the forum ...

... thanx for the Warm Welcome so far.
I think you can call me a friend of the Americans in general. I work for a US corporation, for quite a few years now I spent each and every of my vacations over there (in fact I will be in SoCal for two weeks from April 4) and I have travelled approx. 50% of all the States (all East Coast, all South, Part of the Midwest (in fact just returned from Chicago a few days ago) and part of the West Coast. Been to many NHRA National Events at various locations as well as a NASCAR race at Talladega. I do not like war in general and I guess I share this feeling with most everyone. However, it started for a reason and I hope it is over soon. Hope you are OK with this statement which I would not really call political. ... but I joined in order to talk "Ford" with you guys.

Hey bro, welcome.
I lived in Schwienfurt for three years. I was there when Russia's reactor blew up. I can go out at night without a flashlight still.

Good to have you. I think you'll find yourself spending a good bit of time here. I know most of us have. I don't post as much as I used to, but I lurk alot. This is a great site for Mustang information and general discussion. You'll find some lively discussions here at times .
Anyway, welcome to Mustangworks. --nathan

Hi welcome aboard! I was born in Landstuhl while my parents were stationed at Ramstein and lived in Germany again in the little town of Arenrath while we were stationed at Spangdahlem (sp?). I still consider Germany home.

Wilkommen!
Great to have you on here! Nice rides! I, too, spent some time in germany(dad in Army). Spent a year in Bad Kreuznach & 3 years around Stuttgart. VERY fun place to live when you're 10-14years old!--->'ein bier, bitte!' will get anyone who is taller than the counter or bar top a beer!
Have fun in here! Later! Sean

... OK, Thanx. Look forward to talk to you when time allows. Spend most of my on-line time hanging around at a Ford Truck forum (www.ford-trucks.com) as the F100 is the project for now. The Stang has to wait until the truck is on the street. Hope to have the 289 talk to me sometime later in spring. It is a vintage `66 motor with a somewhat hotter cam. I have a Offy intake and a brand new Edelbrook 4-barrel. Also still in the boxes are a Mallory Billet Ready-to-Run "magnetic" distributor, Pro Master Coil and Pro Sidewinder wires. I have full size headers conneted via 2 1/2" to 40 Series Flowmasters and then 3" to the outside world. The tranny is a stock C4 (for now) and it connects to a 9" with a Detroit Locker. The truck looks pretty odd as I sprayed it myself in Flat !!! BMW Phoenix Orange. Look at my site and see the complete story if you wish.
See you all around !!!
