New motor coming together!
Just bought my new nitrous coupe heads today. I was going to get some AFR 225's but i found a great deal on some "big exhaust port" 205's with .680 lift roller springs and titanium hardware. They have a new CNC program exhaust that has 75cc ports rather than 70. These heads were designed for power adder cars. The flow is not as much as the 225's, but 314 and 260 at .700 is not bad. The smaller runners will give me better velocity and swirl anyway seeing as how i am no longer boosting this combination. I will ditch my current bennet custom grind and run a larger, more aggressive cam to make up for the lesser flow.
Hoping to have it ready for the fastest street car challenge in September. Hope every one is doing well. Miss you all, but i have been super busy. Hoping to make it to Dallas in 2 weeks. Light Em Up!! |
