Question 'Stang Analyzer Questions.....

I know it's meant for rough estimations, but is there anyway to get your 1/8th mi ET converted to 1/4mi ET while still allowing for different gear ratios?
Also, what gearing is the Analyzer set for now? If it's a stock gear ratio, then it doesn't give a good estimate of power for us guys and gals that have changed our gears.
One more thing and I'm done, for those that run slicks, does the Analyzer compensate for the changing final drive ratios as the tire circumfrence changes?
These are the questions I ask myself when I'm at home alone and the power is out. Heh heh.
Later.

The truth is that the Stang Analyzer is a rudimentary program. If you want even a moderately decent one, you'll need to fork over some money. I have one from Performance Trends that is at least OK. DRAG RACING ANALYZER.

Probably 50 different inputs that can at least do a somewhat decent job of simulating a car at the drag strip. Check out the demo at Performance Trends web site.

It should be real close.

My times are 8.078 1/8th 12.565 1\4 and 86.53 1/8th 109.38 1\4

the stang analyzer says I should run a 12.60 @109.03 when I give it my 1/8th mile times.

I don't know if gears make a big change in the program but I run 3.55 gears.
