I have 2 choices. Send in my bad valve with a core charge of $70, buy the rebuilt one for $115, and get refunded $70 of the core charge.
ORRRRRRRRR.......
Ditch the power steering and buy the manual steering adapter that replaces the p/s control valve. This thing would cost $150....
The car will be driven on the street and on the drag strip. It's not a daily driver, just driven in nice weather on the weekends to have a little fun. I have skinny (215/60/15) front tires on it that are not too bad to turn without power steering.
I think I want to convert to manual steering....but I'm not quite convinced it's the right thing to do.....
Whadda you guys think?
