*Story* My day as a ricer

I got up in the morning and put on my pants. I didn't feel like pulling them all the way up so I left them hanging below my ***. I thought this is cool in case I get a girl and need to flop my 2" rod at her quickly.

So I put on my cap, and out I went. I fell down the damn stairs because I tripped on my pants. That's okay I only hit my head and God knows I've done that many times before.

Anyway I got into my phat ride and hooked up my yellow padded seat belt. I had to re-new the layer of duct tape that kept the windshield from leaking because of my failed attempt to make it look like lexan. Other than that my car sounded so cool with the 5" tip I just got at Pep boys. Pep boys is wack, they have a cool section now. I hope I get the store credit card so I can buy a set of blue washer lights and ****!

At a red light I revved at some looser in a piece of **** V8 American car. The guy was cool because he started to laugh. I think it's cool that he can laugh at himself like that. No way he was laughing at me because in total I have like 150 HP because I bought new spark plugs and a exhaust tip. I have stickers of things that I'd like to buy for my car, so people better watch out.

The V8 guy didn't want to race me, but I showed him anyway and floored it. I manually shifted my automatic transmission when the red light from the monster tach lit my whole face. I got him by 15 car lenghts. Count to think of it, I think he turned to another street but the distance he was from me still counts right?

So here I am crusing along the street in first gear, in case I need to race again. My engine sounded so sweet revving at around 5k and my car going 15 MPH. All the ladies looked at me. I was so happy, if I wouldn't have painted my rear drums yellow I would have stopped to talk to them. I wanted my yellow paint on my drums to stay clean you know.

Finally I creep up to another damn American car at a red light. This guy was a joke. He had like these huge *** tires in the rear and it looked like he didn't even cut his springs, so I thought I had an advantage over him. His old car with "Rice Killer" on the rear window had a huge chrome hood ornament in the middle of the hood. It had 3 little holes on it and the whole thing moved left to right. I thought "dang, I wonder if Pep boys has something like that for me to bolt onto the hood too"? Heck I'd put it on the roof.

His car had side exhaust that blew what smelt like un-burnt gas into my passenger window. I would have rolled up the window but it's hard to pretend you have electric windows with the passenger window. I can do it very good with my window. People can't even tell that I don't have electric windows. The open window let all the noises this car made. It sounded like real ****. The car was shaking left and right while the engine sounded like it was going to stall at any moment! I was sure I'd win if we'd race. So I revved and revved until my "V-tech" light came on (I wired the V-tech light to turn on instead of "Check Engine" (much cooler that way).

The guy turned off his engine and got out of his car and ask me if I heard a loud bee? I was WTF bro? You smoking **** dude? I asked him if he wanted to race. The guy agreed and got back into his ugly car and started up the engine.

When the light finally turned green, I got tunnel vision and floored it. All I saw was my monster tach and the road ahead of me. When I got a couple of miles away from where the race started, I pulled back and looked behind me to see how far back the car was?

To my demise the guy was at a general store a little further UP the street. He had enough time to beat me in the race and get a pack of smokes before I could even catch up? I investigated his car once I arrived to the store a couple of minutes later. I was looking for two big bottles of NOS. The guy told me his car was blown. I pretended to understand because I've never heard that before on Fast and the Furious.

Well that was bad luck. Luckily I made him understand that my car has better HP per liter. Again he started to laugh at himself. I’m starting to like the V8 owners since they seem so open minded and capable of laughing about themselves.

I finally made it school and parked with my buddies. They have cool cars with ground effects and fake hood scoops. I told them about my drive to school that morning, which enticed them to watch Fast and the Furious again to see if they mention the term “blown”.

We had a great day at school.

I had my car towed back home because I forgot to turn off my powerful stereo system after lunch. I couldn’t just boost my car because I took off the alternator thing that just sucked up power from my engine. I went to bed and dreamed about how cool the next day would be.

*yawns*

Eric really as a ******* moderator stfu. i have yet to come across cbring as a damn ricer. OMG he drives a GTI :eek: What shall we do now? GTI's are damn nice cars especially the 1.8 turbo. you are sopposed to be a good represenative of this site and mustang lovers. All i have seen you do lately is call names and brag about your full on race car that you paid the money for. You used to seem like a pretty cool guy but something has happened to you ever since your "Im leaving thread"

Yes I love my Mustang and no i wouldnt trade it in for a GTI right now but they are still nice cars. Not everyone has to like Mustangs out there. i mean Mustands are great cars but they arent the greatest thing since sliced bread.

i have yet to see cbring display the ricer attitude. besides he drives a GERMAN car. I mean he doesnt have a huge wing or ridiculous body kit or a fart pipe on it. Besides that story is ok but it is pretty much just like all the other stories.

Yeah Marty you are a very cool guy but i think you are taking him a little too far. Ive read basically every post he has made and i have yet to find his "Holier than Thou' persona evident. If he does have one it isnt nearly as bad as some of the people on this board about mustangs/domestics.

i think youre failing to realize that even though the story is old, a good majority of the people on the internet have yet to read it. i hadnt read that one and thought it was a cool twist...but ive only been doing the forum thing for about 5 months...youve obvioulsy been doing it much much longer and in boards that would most certainly have these stories posted regularly, so you were tired out of them a while back...please let me get tired of them aswell...its the same with rice pics...they get posted, then reposted and reposted, and everytime i see them fly by i notice more people that see it for the first time...so not all of us have been saturated with these stories yet...

Ok this site is falling apart everyday. People flaming people, cussing at other people..it wasn't like this when i joined. And Nick, how the **** do i brag about my car? It seems like it's ok for everybody else to talk about what they do to their cars but i can't say a damn thing about mine without somebody running their damn mouths. Some of you crybaby assholes need to grow up and quit being jealous of other people.

Eric you just seemed to have changed. there are many times when you just say Oh well I have a pro 5.0 car or w/e. Like I said before you were a very cool guy in my book until you made that post about you "not being wanted here" and after that it seems to me that you have become an *******. i dont know why but thats just the feeling I and a few others have gotten since then.

I dunno thats just my feelings. I still think everyone should stay here so we can try and bring this board back to what it used to be. people leaving does not help AT ALL. You dont have to be here 24 hours a day but making posts saying IM LEAVING aand never coming back is really stupid.

I have to agree with Josh and MidNite on this one. The whole ricer thing has gotten way out of hand and as far as I can tell cbring has shown a real interest in American muscle. Everyone just needs to lay off and chill. Eric I'm especially disappointed in your actions as a Moderator. Either represent us in an appropriate manner or step down.

Eric- You disgust me as a moderator. I'm 18 and you come off as more immature to me than some of my peers do. And you're what, in your early 30s? If I was Dan McClain and I saw some of the outrageous comments you've thrown out, you would have no longer been a moderator. I would have ripped that priviledge away from you in a heartbeat. I haven't seen you brag about your car, but there is something definitely sitting on your shoulder telling you that you're almighty or something. Come on guys, we know everyone (almost) hates rice. But we all know that NOT ALL IMPORTS ARE RICE and even some domestics are rice. We all realize this, we have for a long time. There is no need to go around flashing and parading about how rice sucks blah, blah, blah. Yes, rice does suck. But it gets old to hear this constantly. Know what I'm saying?

I know what you are saying, but I think he(Marty) dislikes most if not all imports, which is basically how I feel excluding supercars. I don't have as much problem with european cars, but for some reason, I just feel most Asian cars suck. I am not ignorant to their performance in some cases or their quality standards vs. domestics circa 1980's and early 90's, but I feel they are not superior to domestics overall in my opinion.


True, I don't like rice of any form domestic or foreign. And the most annoying kind of rice to me is FWD with 4 cylinders and a riced out Stang, because that is a discrace to the Mustang, IMO. Should someones right to do that to their car be taken away. Of course not, and that is not what I am saying, but as has been stated before, it is also my right to ridicule and make fun of that crap. Add in the fact that a lot of Asian imports fit in the rice category and yes, I dislike them a lot, even more so than a domestic Escort or Neon. (Although I really dislike neons ;))

In general, I can respect some Imports, but generally I really prefer American muscle and American vehicles in general.

And I know this import and that import are made in Kentucky or Alabama, and Gm and/or Ford own this much stock of *blank* import car manufacturer, but call it stubborn USA pride, BUT I WANT A CAR MADE BY A United States COMPANY. Its just the way I am. Again, certain European cars are nice and in some cases suprerior, but I want my Ford pick-up and my BADA** Mustang. Or my nice big powerful 4-door sedan. (I only have the GT right now, but a nice F-250 Diesel is my next vehicle after graduation from college this May :D )

I've been reading this "Mustang Works vs Cbring" thing for a couple of days now since every now and again I stumble onto this site to browse the 4.6L tech section and see if anything catches my eye. I was suprised to see "This is not Cbring" in this forum and more suprised to see people calling him a "ricer".

Being that A. Cbring owns a 72 Monte Carlo, and B. He's a close personal friend of mine, and many other domestic loving V8 driving guys; I think its pretty damned funny that many of you have been so quick to label him a "ricer".

Perhaps your a little to anxious to use the term?

B. He came in here waving the import flag and stiring up trouble. If he's such a great guy, and domestic fan, why couldn't he just come in here and start bsing without being such a PITA?
