Stupidest Ricer Mods

Today I saw a late 90's model Eclispe that looked pretty stock, except for one thing. The guy just had a fake air scoop put above his windshield. Like the kind you would use for an extremely suped up rear engined car. The scoop was still in primer and it was very easy to see it went nowhere, unless the guy was using it t o push air into the cockpit. I think this is one of the stupidest things I have seen on a ricer, I even saw another car have this on it a while back, but I thought my eyes were decieving me. I guess they weren't:confused:

Thats a new one on me, a scoop above the windshield! Just when you thought they couldnt ruin these cars any more than they already are.

The worst thing I saw was just the other day, and it was a wing on the rear deck lid. Now this wasnt your typical ricer wing. This thing had three stages to it, kinda looked like the Wright brotheres Bi-plane, with another, additional wing on top of that. And to top that off, it had like a checkered flag sticker running down the middle of it. This thing was so huge, it proabably was higher than the roof line!

I almost threw up on the spot.

This has to be the stupidest ricer mod I've ever seen. At least it's good for a laugh.

Hey, if you're gonna be a poser, you might as well have a "functional" poser mod.......LOL:)

I've seen a "fake" bolt on turbo. The add said to "impress your friends" etc. etc. bs bs bs....

I've also seen small neon tubes for the inside of an auto. They outline the dash and make the car look "WAY COOL"!

I also still haven't figured out why someone would lower a car so low to where it can't get over a speed bump....

Anyone wanna enlighten me on that one?

hey, nobody said rice had to make sense :D

Check this out, I forgot where I saw it, but its a device which runs on the car's battery mimicking the whir of a turbo( a decoy tubo sound upon emits from under the hood upon acceleration)

--==::HEY RICERS!!::==--sound don't mean sh**, when your a mile behind the competition

Rice: adj. in automobile performance. the negation of common sense, and/or laws of thermodynamics, physics etc.:D

I was at autozone today and I was browsing around in the ricer section and they have light up brake and gas pedals, neon wiring to go inside the car, and a stupid antenna base that lights up. COOL HUH bet you get some big horsepower from those!!!!! I got 15 HP just by saying I did!!!! LOL j/k:D :p

We can only hope that they will disguise an amp as an engine so we don't have to see these monstrosities on the road. They can sit in their garages and listen to the deep bass generated by their nitrous bottle subwoofer.
