![]() with it being only the beginning February and having about 3 nice, bright sunny days each week (funky warm winter) i get more and more ansy and eager to get out my car and drive for about 3 days straight heheh. i'm planning on having it stored until the beginning of April or mid-March when i have a new hood put on. but it's been sooo hard to resist pulling it out of our bottom garage (which is a chore in itself, i'll only explain if asked), up around the house and tearing down the road with a vengance.
who all in here stores their car during the winter months to not only save on insurance heh, but to keep it off of the slippery roads and out of the salt when winter gets nasty? do you get really ansy to get it out come spring? i was just curious.

![]() Yeah, tell me about it, here in Cali, it actually rained once last week. I couldnt cruise around for over a day ! I mean, it was perfectly sunny and clear the other 6 days, but man, it was rough....
![]() HAHA, no, I can only imagine how bad it must suck driving a stang where there's snow. But then, snow has benefits too, apart from the driving aspects. Just keep imagining how sweet it'll be once summer starts getting here and the stang hits the streets again.

![]() That would be a bummer... My Stang has never seen snow! I love the fact that I can take it out whenever I want to all year long! Good luck... I'd probably crack and take it out anyways!

![]() Tod:
I live in the snowy, cold northeast but drive my Mustang year-round, except in snow and ice, obviously. I'm not insane. When I've had to leave it parked for a week due to big snows (not yet this season) then drove it again on a dry road...the appreciation I felt for the 'Stang was intense! From the sweet sound of the exhaust, and the solid feel of the leather shift knob in my hand to the rush of power I experienced at the touch of my right foot, I knew that I had really missed my 'Stang and man, it was good to have her back again. Come spring, you'll have the same experience, times ten. You'll also truly appreciate your Mustang a whole lot more than you may have when you could drive it every day, whenever you wanted to. Almost worth the wait. |

![]() Mr. 5.0:
I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I went through the same thing last winter when I stored it. Just today I went downstairs to start it up (just to sit and listen for a bit ![]() But this winter the poor thing is down in our new part of our basement, unable to jet outta the door and onto the road. since we had to drive it through the yard to get her down there, we have to wait until the grass isn't all soft when we take her back out again. It's like she's chained in a cell, nowhere to go ![]() If i sound like i treat her like a member of the family it's because that's exactly what she is to me ![]() Ugh, talk about being anxious when we pull her out of there. Whew, I don't think i'll be able to take it, heh heh. ![]()
