I think the 1963 Cougar looks pretty sharp....kind of like an AC cobra coupe http://www.oriole.net/~windy/concept/002.htm

That mustang would have been hideous. Thank goodness it was only an engineering idiocy and not a production one.

thank god they changed it in 64.5... if they used that style it still wouldnt be here today

actually the mustang, started out being called the cougar, look it up, i aint lying. they changed the name, so mercury picked it up.

I don't belive that car was a concept. It started off as a race car, with a v4. I can't remember what his name was, but a guy from chevy was the one who came up with the mustang name from that race car, and he also helped design it too. I looked all this up a while back, so it's kinda hazy on the details right now. But I'm not far off.
