I have no idea why the transmissions keep burning up.

There is a new radiator in the car, the lines were flushed, and are not kinked. The first trans lost 3rd&4th, the new one is slipping in 2nd&4th. The TV cable is adjusted perfectly. The first trans was out of the donor car we bought for the rearend, and engine front drive accessories. It had some miles, and I believe it couldnt handle the motor (it came from behind a TBI 305) which is a RamJet 350 crate motor (350HP, 400ft/lb TQ) The current trans is a TCI unit from Jegs. We're running a aux. cooler and B&M Fluid per TCI. I believe it was just a bad transmission from the start. I never liked the way it shifted into 2nd from the time it was installed. The car runs great in 1st, then you feel it shift sortof, the tach jumps up to about 5000, and the car just holds its speed, then it hits third and accelerates again. It also shifts and accelerates fine at part throttle, but when you put some torque to it, it slips.
I work at the ford dealer here as a tech, but i handle the manual transmissions. I talked to our auto trans man, and he said its probably a faulty servo or somethin'.
