Common you americans, I would of thought any american would of got a big huge dog, bought a gun, and shot at the first thing that moved then researched it afterwords. lol =) See if the sounds reoccurs again and then go from there. Have you checked your attic?
|
sam us american's arent gun crazy:rolleyes: ,i only own-uhhh none:rolleyes:,what you canuck's dont have gun's? just jokin with ya:D
|
ya, need a gun!
Nah, havent checked the attic yet, and I"m sure as hell not gonna do it at night!!! Actually my attic is clear on the opposite side of the house. The roofline over my livingroom divides the fireplace/attic and it goes clear to the top story. Open concept. Whatever it is is DEFINETELY IN THE FIREPLACE! I hear it now. But, yeah, i need a gun. I'd just like to have one...
But whatever it is.... I do hope he comes out unharmed! BTW: When Chimney Sweeps catch critters in the chimney, how do they do it? How the hell do they get them out of there? Teargas? explosives? Kinda like Bill Murray trying to get that cute little gopher in CaddyShack???? I hope not!!!!! :( |
LOL CHRISTINE!!!
This is the most entertaining thread I've ever read! haha! You poor thing! I bet if I heard something that sounded 80 lbs in my attic/fireplace I'd be scared to death too! haha!
I can't believe the chimmney people can't get out there any quicker! :o Have you tried someone else?? I don't think I could live that long with it!! I can't wait to find out what it is! I too hope someone saves it, I hear it's ganna be pretty warm this week...That's not ganna be real comfy on a critter up there! :( |

Wheres the Force when you need him?
Old Guy....hehehehehahahhaa!!
Maybe I can invite the Force over here...he always had a way w/ those Dillo Burgers!!!!! Been a while. Remember if he remembers how to make them????? |
Smoked Armadillo
Hey, Topless sorry I haven't posted earlier. I'm using your fireplace to make some smoked Armadillo. I was hoping you would of lit it up by now. I borrowed your rusty Armadillo launcher and flung one big fat 80lb. Armadillo in the hole of the chimney first try. I'm impressed.:D :p
|
How about squirrels? That's probably more likely what it is though I guess it could also be a small coon. Next time you hear the sucker in the chimney fire up the fireplace. Get a good fire going and then go outside to see what comes out. Plus, make some kind of screen to go over the top of the chimney to keep it out. Have the shotgun ready after you start the fire. :D
|
Hey!! Topless!! I just figured out why your house filled with smoke the last time you had a fire in the fireplace!! I'm not kidding...that's probably what your problem was!
|
Yo Topless...
If turns out to be a bat... please be kind.
|
light a fire, just burn tonnes of paper and the free loading animal will leave and not come back,I had bird come down my fire place and into my house had to open the door so it would fly out, call animal control they'll look into it and I think it is free
can't wait to hear what it was it's probably a huge swarm of cocka roaches nesting in you fire place, better get them before they come into your house |
srv1, we southerners have fireplaces to throw those 80 lb. rats that we catch out of our attics, hee, hee.
