Christine, those 80 pounders can be tough to stop when charging, so a shotgun is not a bad idea.
Use double aught shot for those big ole bad ones and give'em both barrels right off the bat. Don't wait for them to get those sharp incisors close to your vitals. Rev |
I'm over 1400!!!!
I KNOW THIS IS TOTALLY UNRELATED, but I just noticed this is my 1405 post!!!!!!! wooohooo!!!!!!! This really is GREAT stress relief for me!!!!!! ug

on another note ,topless.....you'd better not light a fire to smoke it out ........knowing your luck with this house what would happen is just as the fire gets going .......the crispy critter will come springing from the fireplace,.....half on fire the flying flaming rodent will go running thruogh the house trying to elude topless .........topless will go running though the house screaming ,trying to elude the flaming varmint...........topless would be in hysterea......the critter would become a fleeing, flaming ,fireball.........and in the process the critter will set the house on fire and burn it down.....roaches and all:eek: .............:D |

WELL...it TWERENT NO BIRD!!!! It chewed a nice 8" hole in one side of my chimney!!!!!!! He went to go get the parts to replace 2 sides of my chimey(one side rotting) and hes gonna repaint and paint the metal thing on top to keep it from rusting. Basically what this boils down to is the culprit is costing me another $500 today!!!!!! wwwaaahhhh! PLEASE SEND ME ALL YOUR MONEY ASAP!!!!!! Hopefully I can unload some parts at the swap meet on Sunday! I've had my butt up on that roof all morning it seems, and we couldn't find anything when we shined the flashlight. He thinks it got out. He said if it died, it would have most likely died where we can see it.....Needless to say i'm a little pissed and disappointed. I was hoping I wuld have at least got to get a pic of him dead then find NOTHING!!!!!! I will keep you posted if we run across anything.. On a good note...I'm working on my garage! a jack-a-lope? I dont think those could chew through that
|
Ah yes, the mysterious Jack-a-lope. There's nothing they can't do, depending on the storyteller!
Reminds me: My ex's family owns a place called Pine Mountain Inn. It's up in the middle of the Los Padres National Forest, 30 miles from civilization, and doesn't even have a phone or electricity (they have a HAM and a generator). It's been there for close to 100 years, and is pretty much a hole-in-the-wall bar/restaurant that used to be a stagecoach stop. It's a very popular stop for bikers and adventuresome tourists. Anyway, they have dozens of stuffed animals, that have been killed up there, all over the bar/restaurant walls, including a Jack-a-lope. Most people leave there convinced they actually exist because they saw one on the wall. Funny as hell listening to some dad explain it to his kids, not even sure he believes himself! Take care, -Chris |
Jackalope??!!??
I thought it was a really big rabbit w/ antlers!!!! LOL :)
|
That is one crazy looking animal. lol I wonder if they got those little creatures in Canada. I don't believe so. There probably like me and don't like the cold. Ohh.. we got like 3-5 cm of snow on the ground! (1/2 inch?) Spring started yesterday. This sucks well I'm off to school.
Good luck with your creature problem TNT, §am |
