They were mentioned in the suit. I don't have all facts and figures, just personal experience. It's my understanding, however, that of all the oil additives of this type, Slick 50 is the only one that doesn't add chlorine, which turns into acid in your engine. I don't know that for a fact, though. They were also the only one in which the tests showed no damage was done by using it. I have just always used it, and have always had great results. I've seen it work at freeing up sticky lifters, and keeping them that way. I also pulled a crank out of one of my older engines that had been sitting underneath a bench grinder for 2 years (it was junk just waiting to go the metal recycling yard), and the thing was so slippery, I had trouble holding it by the journals. I had some good experiences with it in college, too. Again, though, these are just my experience. I no longer recommend it to people, but I still use it. Maybe, as someone else told me, it's just my placebo.
