Three more months... Oh boy...
 

For those that don't know, my first foray into fatherhood starts in three months as Robyn starts her third trimester in a few days...

We already know its going to be a girl and the name is picked (Lauren). So its all a matter of waiting now...

I'm starting to freak out as the whole thing starts to become real for me.... feelings of joy, pride, uneasyness, doubts.

Questions on how well a car crazy hillbilly with roots from West Virginia is going to deal with an entire life placed in his hands....

Feeding, diapers, pediatricians, sleepless nights, questions like "why is the sky blue?" and "how do tornadoes suck things up?" are in my future...

Later on come the dreaded "boyfriend" years.... knowing full well how my mind worked between the ages of 15 and 25 (and sometimes still to this day).... I think I'm just going to turn the house into a fortress with 50 cals lined up on the roof... ;)

I guess I'll just have to take it one day at a time and be the best dad I can be.... Sorry for the vent...

You'll be fine!! You'll be a good dad! Think of all the awesome things that will happen! :) It's gonna be fun for ya! well, until she starts dating.. oh and the poopie diapers are gross too... LOL

you will make it fine, hammer, i know from experiance they grow up, then do what they want, then you get to spoil the grandchildren & send them home for revenge, heheh. :D :D

Congrats Hammer. I'm sure you'll be a fine father. Your child is already a very lucky kid because they have a good person (Well at least from what we know;) ) for a father.
