After all we are talking about a company that had the technology to put 4 wheel disc brakes on an 86 mustang SVO but couldn't even offer it as an option for the 87 GT, why do you ask, they sacraficed performance to save a couple bucks per unit.

expect Ford to cynically bastardize the Mustang name in order to sell a few more cars, than we basically agree. I thought you favored the plan. It's a very bad idea so, they'll quite likely do it. That's why executives get paid the big bucks. Any wonder Ford stock is worth about the same as a used
