tirerack.com anybody?

hey guys, got a dillema. went to my guys shop yesterday an asked for some help on gettin some 99 alloy cobra rims for my car(like the simple, smooth bar look) anyway they call a couple of dealers to check prices, an i hit the floor the price per rim they were askin? 400 a piece! jeepers marion christmas, thats F'in insane!!:eek: i know the're a dealer an they got overhead, rent an such, but I'm sorry thats ludicrious!! if i'm payin $1,300 dollars for rims they are going to be some Schmidtt's or some dubbz. anyways, i start checkin the online places, Tire rack.com seems to be in the lead( low shipping, instock, on line vieing guide of what car looks like, an the style I want.) My question is has anybody used them before, are they reputable? and if not help me out with some other places in the georgia/ Alabama area

thanx a ton

Look up diversified products in any mustang mag. I believe they are the ones with authentic ford rims for sale. Maybe $125 a piece, dont quote me on that though.

edit- $125 for silver and $175 for polished, www.buyfordmotorsport.com

My friend got his brabus rims from there at a price the knock offs would have costed him. They did good buy him. And he also bought tires for his new 19's. It looks cool...I put on his brabus kit and lowered the car for him...So I looks real good...lol...

TireRack

I bought my last set of Kumos from them, got a great deal, and fast shipping.

I've never heard of ANYONE paying $400/rim, even for genuine Motorsport products...even actual Rs can be had for ~$175/rim last time I checked.

I've ordered all my tires from either Discount Tire Direct or Tire Rack. Both were great to deal with, and I would recommend them with a crystal clear conscience :)

They're about an hour from my house. Most people around here get their wheels & tire ther with no complaints. Can't vouch for shipping.....

I've bought all my tires from TireRack for probably 5 years now. Never had a problem with them. They even muffed an order and cross shipped the replacements so I didn't have to wait.

If you do order from them, check out the pricing on Fed Ex 2nd day air. It is actually cheaper than UPS ground. At least for me it has been.
