Re: TKO problems and Coolant temp sensor
damn man, ever hear of capitalization and punctuation? You sound like a drunk college girl slurring words on forever.
On to the topic, if you changed transmission and the same vibration is there, then it's not your transmission. Your flywheel could be the wrong balance, your driveshaft could be out of balance, your tires could be out of balance, or a few other things. Is the vibration only at certain speeds, or at certain rpms? |
Re: TKO problems and Coolant temp sensor
Yeah it shakes more around 65-75 and after a 100 it's back to being smooth.

Re: TKO problems and Coolant temp sensor
GM Synchromesh is what most of the tranny builders recommend running in a TKO.
Sounds like ya lost a few wheel weights to me. I have a TKO and have had ZERO problems with it. |
Re: TKO problems and Coolant temp sensor
Hello, I'm new here but thought I might be able to help with this one, I have an old school TKO and mine started shaking real bad around 65 mph and stopped around 85 mph, took me forever to figure out that my trans yoke was twisted. I called D&D and got a new one, perfect ever since
