A friend of mine bought the new Tool cd last night at midnight. I got a chance to listen to the whole thing and I like it a lot. The songs are all pretty long, some are 8 - 10 minutes in length. You can definately tell that it's Tool, there style hasn't changed much. They seemed to do a lot more with bass (low and heavy) on the album, which is alright by me. Also, they still have those 20 sec intros which they even title and have separate tracks for. http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/rolleyes.gif I should be adding it to the collection in the next couple of days.

I've been listening to the new Tool a lot and it really grows on you. I think the first song is incredible, especially when it's gets near the end.

I got to see TOOL during the undertow tour at the world famous (was anyhow) HAMMERJACKS. I had so many bruises from the moshers it wasn't funny. I will forever worship TOOL. TOOL.

I'd get the TOOL album 1st. I love StainD though, too. It's a tough call really. Like you, I will end up buying both!
