Need more information. Is the problem in the actual gear - or the synchro?

In any case, change the transmission fluid - preferably to synthetic. It's a start.

Double clutch for a day and see if that helps. I don't think you even use the sync's when you do that.

PS: I read that on this site... so I don't really know. But if it's true that'll help ya diagnose it.

READ the sticky at the top of the Blue Oval Lounge!

Let us know a little more information first. Then I'll move it to the appropriate forum for you.

I good place to start is to know what year and model your car is....then whether it's an automatic transmission or manual, and what your "problem" actually is (slips, grinds, whines).

Well if it is a 01-present V6/GT/Cobra with the T3560 then it is a common problem. When I had the 01 Cobra it went through 5 Transmissions and I never raced it so it was not the abuse. Other wise let us know what year and model.
