|  Travel Advice I was stationed in the Philippines from 1987 to 1991 and we had several attacks on americans while I was there. I was within 100 feet of a shooting while there. What did I learn? Keep your eyes open pay attention to what is going on around you,especially when traveling. Trust your instincts. I know there are some good people in every country I have been in and I've been in many, however in a case like being on an airliner with some middle east type people I would definetly have kept an eye on them. Don't know if I could have done anything but on at least three of the planes alot of people may not have even known anything was going on. |
