engine to stand
I was woundering what bolts I should use to bolt an engine to A stand. at fist I thought it would be the trans bolts but they dont look long enough.
also I should probly make shure where I bolt the stand to. I was thinking where you bolt the trans bellhousing to the block. is that correct. thanks ford kid |

DO what I do, take the bolts from the bellhousing, fiqure out long they need to be, then go to NAPA autoparts. U can get the right size, grade 8 bolts for only about $2

I found out that NAPA has the best selection of bolts for cars, and cheap too. I have to go to them many times. Like when I was rebuilding my Bronco motor, over half of the bolts ended up missing for some reason. Even though I had them in labled baggies.
