Vanity License Plates
 

Hey everyone...
I figure that alot of us have specialized plates for our rides. If you have one that you'd like to share, post it up!!:D

mine just say's - desert storm veteran, got me out of a ticket once,haha. :D ;)

i have some random numbers and letters...

my brother has wanted 3M TA3 for a while though...think for a front plate...lol

i have a cherry 1948 ohio tag, had it acid dipped etc, it's primered right now, just waiting to find someone with a steady hand to re- paint it, no it's not for sale. :D :D

Mine just says "97 STANG". I think I'm gonna change it to something else.

Mine says, "3VUE422" No, its not personalized. I did that once in high school, still have the front. The best "seralized" plate I had was "278 BJZ" yeah, use your imagination.;)

I get enough attention from how I drive/ride, to not want an easily remembered plate. That's just me. I might try for THDEUCE when I biuld my '32.

Chris, where did you see the "SENTNEL" plate. I have a "connection" to the guy who played 'The Sentinel' on TV.

The best plates I've seen around are:

"POLOCK" - this was hung updside down.

and

"32 SOHC" - on the car in my Avatar.

I also saw

"AHOT440" on a 69 charger. Didn't have a car that was race worthy at the time. I'm looking for that guy now though.;)

On my '69 Chevelle SS. There's a song by Judas Priest on Defenders called The Sentinel, and I rewrote it into a Street Racing song, and it was pretty damn cool, so I made the Chevelle The Sentinel. No one ever understood it unless they had seen my lyrics. I can't tell you how many people asked me where it was that I sent Nel. Pissed me off.

You could have said that you sent Nel walking, because you raced for pinks and won. That's why I don't do vanity plates anymore. Sometimes they don't work out quite like you think they will.

Yeah, but sometimes they work out better. That EET MEAT plate got me into ALOT of parties in the Hollywood hills in the 1980's. It even got me into a party at Eddie Van Halen's house off of Coldwater Canyon.

Hey that prog was pretty cool made a plate for the dodge in 67 mississsippi format that says POLARA

Yeah, it is! Most of the plates don't have a limit for the amount of letters you can put on them, too!

Dude, I was the biggest Van Halen fan in highschool. My first/and last vanity plate was supposed to read "Van Hauler". I thought it was funny, because it was on my Wagon. Actually read 'VANHALR' and didn't make much sense.

I'm always suprised with the stuff you come up with.
