Hey brother,
Sorry you feel that way. You have just as much right as anyone to be there. You are a vertran of war just as much as the VEitnam or WW2 guys that are at the VFW with you. I became eligible to join the VFW for going to kuwait, but i declined because i never saw any actuall combat time. YOu have seen combat time and where there when the stuff hit the fan. It is obvious that the other memebers want you there. I am not sure on your situation on why you say your country left you but, It is not your country in this case it is fellow vertrans of wars. If i know anything about comradery between people who have serverd all they don't care about anything but the fact that you where a vertan of a war and you desreve to be there just as much as anyone.

This isn't about your country, it's about your brothers in arms. Go for them if you won't go for yourself.

Hell, I thought Dark 5.0 sent me a Christmas present this year because I got a small package from Odessa, Texas the other day, but it was this years MIA bracelet.

Go.

Take care,
~Chris

Being a fellow veteran, I understand your misgivings.

I have two friends with Gulf War syndrome. One is a Marine that I met in Norfolk not long after basic training. It has pretty much screwed up his life...

Just remember this, the Government isn't the United States... WE are the United States... and you should never doubt that your brothers in arms and every other REAL American would give you the shirt off of his back...

You should be in the parade to represent us, the veterans of the first Gulf War....

And if anyone else hasn't said it...

Thank You...
