When was that quake at the Madrid Fault. Wasnt it 1812. They said the Mississipi stopped flowing for a few hours that day.
If I remember correctly, that was a pretty big shaker on the Rictor scale. When ever I ask someone about that Quake, that supposedly knows Natural Diasters, they look at me like I'm smoking Crack.
