![]() There is a guy in one of my classes whos family owns a bunch of junk yards in the area. He said he could hook me up with any motor or trans for $50 if i wanted. I gave him a list of things to look for and he came back and told me that they have a rebuilt 429 Cobra Jet!! He sais that he and his folks are chevy guys so it is of no use to them, but he would be ready to give me a price tommorow. He said it would be REAL agreable! I'm guessing around the $250-$500 range. There is no way i am passing this up, so it looks like i am looking for a new project car now. I have some ideas to include, shelby cobra replica, gen 1 stang, maby a fox body swap..... ALL ideas are appreciated! Thanks, Jonathan

![]() well if you want to make some money, tell him to sell you a good
t-5 for $50, then sell it to me for more than that, i need one badly as for the project, I'd go with a Coast High Performance fuel injected Spyder Intake and put it in a 87-93 coupe. I'd say low 11's N/A with a good set of heads

![]() I knew i would get offers like that. I'll have to consider some of them.
Why the spyder intake? I like them and was looking into it when i get a charger for Marbles, but wouldn't i loose all kinds of power down low with that thing making it very bad on the street? Light Em Up!!! ![]() |
