this is not cbring brings up a good point. When i was in high school, someone who had a 15 second car had a "fast car". My friends think my car is "insanely fast", even though 80% of the people on this site have a faster car than i do.

There's a BIG difference in TRACK fast and STREET fast especially when comparing your car against most cars you see on the street. Also, there's a guy at my work that runs slicks and mild mods on his '92 GT and ran a 13.54@99.?mph in great weather launching at 5500 rpm, whereas my GT would probably waste his on the street but my ET/traction-driving sucks.

It's all comparative. i suppose anything that has the potential to run a low 14 and under is fast, 12's very fast, 11's really really fast, 10's nuts, 9's and under insane. 15 and 16 second cars are ok....fast enough to easily merge into traffic, 17 and above are SLOW.
