What do you guys think

I might be buying this mustang in my area. Its an 87 Gt with t tops and about 103000 miles. Basically stock except for a few minor things. Around 4500, this sound good?

in my opinion, that is alot for the car, there are deals to be had out there.....if the car is mint mint mint maybe, but look at the middle t top mount...that always is a problem..........but again its only my opinion,i think the car is worth 3 to 3500 tops in really good shape.(i have been an auto appraiser for 10 yrs in a dealership)
you could buy an 89 style mass air car with less miles for less than 4500....... unless you have to have t tops, with the 87-93 fox body style then you are limited to 87 and early 88 1/2 cars.......i hope i helped......and again this is only my opinion.

I agree. You should be able to pick up a nice 87 GT for around $3,200-$3,500. I got Marbles for $3,200 after a little hagling. But if it is real nice and you are willing to part with that much, have fun.

Light EmUp!!!:)

I'm curious

Does it look anything like mine?

I am curious to know how much I could sell my car for. It's an 88 with 134k.. in very good condition inside and out except for a ripped drivers seat (from the sun). I've kept it properly maintained and dont beat it for the last 9 years. Mr. Appraiser?

bigdaddy3312 05-22-2003 07:34 AM

it really depends.......how is the paint, hows the clutch, what have you done to it............it looks nice,to an appraiser, notches are in the book for less, but to mustang guys, they are the ****......so its a hard one to call.....probibly in the 3500 to 4500 range.i love all black stangs.........same as mine....just black...windows, lights, looks the part!i hope i have helped some?thanks......

Sicy Stang 05-22-2003 10:22 AM

There is no clutch .. http://smilies.crowd9.com/cwm/cwm/uhoh.gif lol.

The paint is in pretty good condition, not the best but there arent any really huge scratches or dents in it. I havent really done much to it.. just exhaust.. headers/Hpipe/flowmasters.. and lowering springs and shocks.. everything else is stock, except for appearance, as you can see below.

bigdaddy3312 05-22-2003 10:39 AM

i would figure around 4 k would be a good starting point.

bigdaddy3312 05-22-2003 11:05 AM

Sicy Stang 05-22-2003 01:05 PM

I can vouch for it. Its a nice ride. All metal no bondo. Rare from those Massachusetts winters.
