![]() I know its not a v8, but the car used to run 17's in stock form. There are alot of us out here, that are nearing the 12's. Just curious what your thoughts are about this new v6 frenzy. Don't be to harsh please.

![]() Nothing wrong with a powerful 6. One of my favorite cars (forgot to put it on the post of post 79 cars...) is powered by a V6! The Jaguar concept car...for some strange reason I can't remember the model, but it had twin turbos and was awesome!
It might cost you more than an 8, but a 12 sec V6 would still rock! |

![]() Who cares what it is. If it will do a 12sec pass and it drives on the street that is cool as hell. Just as long as there is no fart can, and a park bench on the back of the car it is all cool.

![]() To think that people are venturing into the 13's and even the 12's with V6 anythings's, especially stangs, is awsome. I'd say, where there's a will, there's a way, and if you've got the will, someone will provide the way. More power to ya!!! Good luck with the quest for the 12's!!!!!!

![]() Nothing wrong with V6's at all. My dad's t-bird is a V6 Supercharged and it puts out pretty good for a 6. It's no V8, but I don't mind it. One of my favorite cars in a 6, The GranNational, 6cly turbo. And they stopped building it because it was beateing the vettes. But there is no replacement for displacement.

![]() 12's from a v6 stang are impressive. I'm planning to mod my v6 if I keep it that long. I was thinking about putting a bottle on it, gears, and such and just see what it does.

![]() There's absolutely nothing wrong with the sixes.
With enough cash, you can make them go quite well... The 4.6 is just a better base for a performance car...

![]() My honest opinion on 12-13 second V-6 Mustangs is that they are few and far between. Of course it can be done with $$$. My question would be why? (Reminds me of the 60 mph Briggs and Stratton lawn mowers).

![]() I think is funny that some people have qualms about a 12 second v6 Mustang, when a 12 second v6 GN is great.
I'm all for it. The 6's are getting better all the time, and that you're doing it with an SN car, sweet. How are you liking NC? The Santa Ana's have been blowing this week, so it's been really warm out here. ![]()
