Whatdya think of this S/C'd 99 GT?

Im considering buying another mustang. Its a black 99 35th Anniversary Vert with a Vortec SC, a Magna Flow cat back, and its perfectly lowered on 17" chrome Speedware Cobra R's with saleen strut tower braces.

I didnt get a chance to really stomp on this thing but you could tell its got some real power under the pedal. I didnt want to piss off the salesman or make him think Im just some punk kid so I drove real respectable-like.

The car is an auto...and I always swore I wouldnt buy one but I really enjoyed being able to cruize at night with the top down now worrying about shifting....knowing theres probably about 400 hp under that pedal.

It has 34000 miles on it and theyre asking 18999 for it. My payments will probably be about 425 a month which doesnt bother me...but I have a feeling my insurance is going to kill.

What do you guys think?

No warranty, as is. But I can always get one from an extended warranty company...I used the hell out of my last one for the 95 GT.

Hey fastang! How's things?

Check you're insurance before you get too serious. The last thing you want to do is get your self in a situation were you have no cash flow.

The 4.6 rocks with boost, it's a good choice.

That sounds pretty sweet. If it turns out to be pretty good with the insurance I say go for it. Yeh I don't think I'd ever buy an automatic unless it was just a winter beater. Stick is fun to drive but auto you don't have to worry about missing a shift when racing or anything. And you got alot of power there for the pick up and go. :D

§am.

I had a 00' GMC truck before I got the Cobra and my insurance only went up $10.00.

Go for it man. Not only that, but do it soon, and bring her down to Carlsbad on 9-14. Get it looked at by a good Mustang shop, and let me know what you find in the way of those that do mod motors.

Insurance might really suck for that car, unless you fail to mention its blown.;)

Hey cam, whats up! Well I eventualy decided not to get it. My Lienholder will only finance me for the wholesale blue book value and my insurance is out of controll. I think Im going to save for a few months and get a fox body. I really liked this car too :(

Good decision. The last thing you want to do is get your self in too much trouble and have to sell the car or lose a bunch of cash. You'll get that fast car again one day.
