Post How many passes did you make at the drag strip last year?

I was going through some of my time slips from last year and I took a count just out of curiosity. I usually run FRI or Sat test and tune between Mar and Nov. I figure I made about 75 passes. How about some of you other test and tune guys or gals?

Last year was an off season. Only 4 pass & scatterd the rods. I usually get close to 50 a year & have enough slips since I satrted racing in 91 to fill a shoe box.

I had to make at least 100 passes last year.

At New England Dragway there were about 20 points days,Fun Ford weekend,Tasca Ford day.

I also ran a few Fri nights ,Jet Cars under the Stars,Night of Thrills.

Then I towed to Norwalk for the Summit Super Series Bracket Finals,1/8 mile.

And I can't wait for this season. If is wasn't for snowmobiles, winter in New England would really stink.

Well in 2000 the stang was down a lot while I got the motor built and put in. So I figure I made about 60. But in 1999 I was there almost every weekend so I figure about 110+.

80 or so for me. I go quite a bit, but only make around 10 passes each time.

I'd guess about 20. I go maybe twice a month as it's a little over an hour each way for me to get there. Mostly on test and tune nights, although I did make it to the semi-finals at the Ford weekend at Route 66 last year...and red lighted! I go to tune the car and have FUN!!!

I made about 10-12 passes last year.

I'm always afraid that I am going to destroy my tranny of something else.

I only made 9 passes in the Mustang last year and two in the Lightning. Planning to do a lot more racing this year though.

Thumbs up

I managed to get 68 passes in last season. 14 of which were pre-season test and tuning, the rest all points races. We finished 2nd in points in 2000!
