Default where to mount amps

Would it be ok to mount my amps under the seats or do they need to have air across them?
If I put them in the hatch then my hatch will be totally useless with the subs back there also.

you could put them under the seat it would keep them out of the way. one guy i know put them under the back seat of his car, but you have to make sure that you have it set up before you go and put the seat back.

I have both of my amps under the seats, They've been there for 6 years with no problems at all. And they're out of view of would-be thieves.
