Who Else Loves HOT & SPICY Food?
I've always loved hot and spicy food. It first started with that Jalopeno cheese Tortia dip.
My family and friends wonder how I can live, and not have any stomach problems with some of the food I eat on a regular basis. Of all the Cultural and regional foods I have eaten, I'd have to say Thai food is the hottest. I love Thai food, the authentic stuff, not the americanized junk. Nothing even comes close to the intense heat. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. My question is, how many of you all are also Spicy Food junkies? Man, I put red pepper, or chillie's in everything I can. Hell, I've even bitten into a raw, fresh, Halbenaro before. Now that was something else.......Ouch... :D The bad thing about Hot food is, You sure pay for it the next day......Arghh. |
I was born and raised in Louisiana so I am used to eating hot spicy cajun food. I think I think I may have eaten way too much hot n' spicy food over the years because I get heartburn like a Mutha *******.
|
THE HOTTER THE BETTER!!!!
I really like hot and spicy food. Anything mexican, or cajun. I love spicy fish. There is a local restaurant that has some cajun fish. D#mn it's hot but it's good. Brad |
Is there any other kind???
|
lol I'm not a huge fan of hot food. I like Spicy most of the time but depends what it is. One of my buddies he will eat anything that is hot. He won't back down from anything. We had a contest last year and one guy went out to find the hottest stuff out there I think it was from the states somewhere down south, but he gave it to him. He was in tears from how hot it was but he was loviing it, just smelling this stuff made me burn up. lol
|
I have to agree, hot food isn't my fav. I can only stand mild sauce.
|
Pussssy.
Take care, -Chris |

AH, no, I just think there is better things then making your mouth numb with food that is so hot, u can't taste anything else. |
Pusssssssssssssssy. :D
Take care, -Chris |
U want to take it outside???
|
OOO.....Fight, Fight! :)
No, but really I enjoy spicy food as well I just hate the after math stuff. I gotta agree with you Mecury, Thai food, the real stuff will knock your socks off, but I love it. I'm fortunate to live out here in the bayarea here in Cali and we have one of the largest Asian poplulations which means we really have some kick a$$ choices when it comes to spicy Asian cuisine. There's a Thai place out in Berkely that's GREAT! :D |
Hey, if u live around me(bay Area) where is some places to go around here?
|
Hey, PKRWUD, your lucky I have to leave to go to bed, I'll have to fight u later. J/K

If it ain't hot, make it hot. I love love every thing hot, hot food, hot cars, hot girls:D. The spicest thing I've ever eaten was some sauce that you put on jerk(spelled wrong) chicken. My brother got it in Jamacia(who says the army never goes anywhere)

PUSSSSSY!:D |
I agree, the hotter the better! I love it! I lived in New Orleans for a few years, and they know how to make stuff hot! (cajun) YUM! :p
|
I am also addicted to hot foods. I have eaten habanero sauce every single day for about the last 3 or 4 years. I think I have turned my stomach and rectum into cast iron (either that or killed all the nerves in those areas) as they never bother me anymore. I definitely used to feel the heat the next day before. I even ate a couple of whole fresh habaneros the other day and didn't feel a tingle from the stomach or rear.
I like it when it feels like someone pulled out your tongue, held a lighter to it for about 30 seconds, then whipped it with a belt and hit it with hundred grit sandpaper and shoved it back into your mouth. |
ok mustangdanni55 that aint funny, hehe meow ilike hot food but my stomach is some kinda screwed up so i cant handle it, you got me though, just wait till aug i will be in indy, & it's glove's off missy, hehe just kidding, but can you tell im a hockey fan,:D
|
Ahahaha..... Your guys/girls are funny. Personally I like to have a variety of things, and I like spicy things too! :p
|
Mustangman-I see you live at Travis not a very exciting place, Sacramento. Anyway if you come down to the Bayarea, there are great places all over especially in the City(SF) or in Berkely by the University. If you want specfic names let me know and I'll look um up.
|
I like spicy (hot) food also, especially hot wings.
Does anyone have a bw3's where they live? They have a hot sauce called blazing and it is good; makes my eyes water my nose run, my mouth and throat tingle and hot, my face and skin turn red, my lips turn red and puffy, and it makes me sweat. Now those are some good wings. We wont even talk about the hell I pay the next day.:( I also love pepper and I cannot use it when I cook because my wife does not like it so I have to put it on just my plate. My wife thinks I am nuts. |
MustangDanni
I missed you, I was wandering about your absence. Now if I can just figure out where Unit ran off to. I mentioned about the next day after affects. You sure pay back for it in dividends dont ya. Especially Thai Food. Holy Cow, I think the toilet seat is on fire sometimes, that or I caught it on fire. :D |
I absolutely love hot/spicy food. Hooters wings are one of my favorites, they make a beer taste so damn good! The local one actually make them hotter than 911 for me, its funny to watch someone else try to eat one of the wings I've ordered:). Mexican food is another favorite, BBQ pork sandwich with about half a bottle of texas pete on it(my mouth is watering now). Good ole mom usted to bring home a jar of jalopena peppers when grocery shopping, I ate them straight from the jar(still do). I would love to try some of that famous hot texas chili, I think it sounds great. You guys that don't like hot/spicy foods... it doesn't make you any less of a man, really.. (*snicker*)
|
Oh yeah, sometimes I like to have a burrito with my hot sauce. I love Mexican food!
dani- I was afraid it was something I said! Glad you're back! Take care, -Chris |
Haha crazy horse, you got called a pussssssy by a lady!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHHAH!!!!! J/K man. It's ok. Spicy foods are good. Just not too spicy. Hehe...

Theres a restraunt in Fayetteville called Bangkock (No jokes guys...please, its a city in Thailand.) That I love going to.
They know that no matter what I order, to make it Thai hot (There rating scale goes Mild, Meduim, Hot, and Thai Hot.) There was a new waitress there (All the others know me by name) and when she saw me sweating and all red in the face she asked if it was to hot. I told her NO, thats the way I like it, just to the point were my lips and face go numb. :D She laughed and got a kick out of that. I was later told when checking out that day that I'm the only Non-Thai (She said White person at first then quickly added "Non-Thai") person they've seen that likes there food that hot. :D That and Thai tea kick mad A$$. I'm the only one in my family, and of my friends that likes hot foods. Go figure. |
Habanaros
Can you say Habanaro peppers! Hottest pepper on the plannet! Anyone ever eat a whole one? I did once - thought I was going to DIE!!

Have you ever had "daves insanity sauce", It is supposed to be the hottest hot sauce in the world.
Uses: Dilute in food..... if your a pussy:D also used as a paint stripper. |
Quote:
Hehe, it's funny when it's someone else. Just say u are what u eat. I don't know what that makes u hot ppl, oh, duh, your all hot. |
I had a bottle of that Daves Insanity sauce. My sister got it for me for Christmas a while back. That crap is pretty kickin.
My mom put a teaspoon of it in a big bat of chilly she was making once. I came home from work to find the family sweating and fanning there mouths during dinner. They didnt eat much of it. I guess I should of warned my mom about the potency of the stuff.:D I make a big mistake of putting the lid back on the bottle, then rubbing my eye once. Ouch. Also cut Thai Chilies then went to use the bathroom.....Now that was interesting. |
6t9pony mustangdanni55 was just informing me that i aM WHAT I ---OHH NEVER MIND:D :D
|
Hahahahahahahaha crazy horse.....that was hilarious....and nasty dood....hehe...;)

Did you ever finish the whole bottle? The first time I ever heard about it was in maxum. It was rated the hottest in the world. |
Eats Hot peppers right outta the jar...
Yup,I love hot spicy food :D
They say most people that love hot, spicy food make "hot" lovers also guys and gals FYI :D |
I like hot spicy chicken, it's all black, and I thin it is called black chicken. LOL, makes sense.....;)
|
I got a bottle of iguana sauce last year for xmas, I still have alittle left but it is pretty good, I usually use it on my steaks. Funny how the little personal things like that mean so much. I got 2 digitial cameras last year, as well.. those were both good gifts but the little bottle of iguana just seemed more personal:).
We went to Charleston a few monthes back and they had a few vendors at "The Market" that had nothing but hot sauce. Some of the sauces had warning labels on the side, that is just rediculous. They were saying "just dip this tooth pick in the sauce" and it would cause serious pain... I think battery acid might do that too, I'm not stupid. One drop in a pot of chili and the chili is WAY hot, 2 drops and its uneatible.. What's the point?! |
I know what you mean Rbatson. I took a tooth pick and dipped it in the Daves Insanity Sauce.
When I put the tooth pic in my mouth I shot a 5 foot flame out of my Rectum. Man that Sh!t is hot. So i put it on crackers, grabbed a beer, and watched 43 shiny metal cars go around a track 500 times (Nascar...GO JEFF BURTON...Well Maybe next season.) :D I love it when my face goes numb, then my body, and I cant even feel my self thinking, thats how you know when your eating some hot stuff. FIVE 0 No, I didnt get a chance to finish the bottle. My mom grabbed it on accident once, opened it, looked and said opps, put the lid back on, then rubbed her eyes and couldnt see right for an hour. So she trashed it. Havent been able to find anymore since. :( |
And why in the world do you like that feeling Mercury?;)
|
Hot and spicy is the BEST!!!!
I always drop HOT salsa in chili and spanish rice......And then I watch my boyfriend's face when he eats...........hahahahaha He loves the stuff too...... Here in AZ there are no good Thai places, so now I'm craving Glass Noodle Salad........ARGH........... Oh, and Southwest Chicken is a nice mouthburner too......They have bottles of the stuff at SuperK and regular grocery stores too. Oh, and who else thinks Hooters wings are not hot? My lips barely tingled........ |
I am about halfway through my bottle of Dave's - that stuff is for special occasions...
|
I agree with you mustang mouse, hooters chicken wings are not hot and do not even bother me the next morning.
If you ever see a bw3, stop any try yhere blazing sauce; it is the hottest I have ever had that I did not make myself. |
Mercury, That sucks:(, if I ever find any more of the stuff I will get you a bottle.:)

What is bw3??? |
It is a sports bar that serves some damn good hot wings.
Read my earlier post about them. I don't know if they are just in fl or where all they are. |
The hotest thing I had was some Jerky(deer meat) that had soo much chily pepper on it, it was orange colored. The first bite had me in tears, but it was so good, I couldn't stop. After about 5 or so pieces, it tasted normal. So I kept eating it. The next day, I did it all over again, the stuff was potent, but it was good after I stopped crying.
|
This is by no means the hottest or wildest, but it is dam good.
14 years ago I delivered pizza part time to help pay my beer tab at the local pizza hang out. While there, I created what I called Italian Fries. If you currently or have ever worked at a pizza place, this will all make sense. if you haven't, bear with me. The place I worked would roll out dough skins in different sizes in anticipation of orders. I would take a small dough set that started out at 10", and run it through the roller over and over until it was about 26" long and about 14' wide, kinda in a long football shape. It was so thin you could practically see through it. I would place it on a grill sized for an extra large 26" pizza, and hit it with the punch roller like it was my worst enemy. I went end to end at least 7 or 8 times, dotting it's entire surface. Then I would brush a thin layer of butter over the entire skin (not just the edges). Next, I grabbed about25 to 30 packets of crushed red peppers. I would rip them open and sprinkle them out over the skin until the entire skin was red. Deep red. Then I lightly covered the whole thing with finely grated cheese. The cheese was never so thick that it obstructed the red, yet still covered the whole thing. A very thin layer, maybe half as much cheese as would be used on a regular small pizza. Then I ran it through the hot side of the conveyor-belt oven one and a half times. After pulling it out, I would make about 30 slices a little less than an inch apart, from one end to the other, and then one slice down the middle, lengthwise. The result was around sixty 3/4" x 6" strips of cheese covered dough that was crispy, yet not crunchy, and hot enough to make an average Joe finish off a pitcher of beer in under 5 minutes. The best part was how addictive they were. Even people who thought they were way too hot ended up grabbing a few more pieces. Everybody said I made them too hot, but any less pepper just didn't give it the right kick, IMO. When others tried to copy my creation, they seldom used more than 6 or 7 packets of peppers. Pusssies. Take care, -Chris |
