Talking Getting my GT back! Whoo!

Ol' Crazy may be ready in a week or so, about freaking time, it's only been since 1-28-02 since I wrecked. My ins co sux, but I'll be happy - plus the guy said I could have any of the take off parts. I want my hood; it only chewed the front edge off, so my boy at work is going to fix it and we're going to make a scoop for it, then re-paint it. Oh yeah, any idea's? I want something different than any other 'Stang out there?

Thanks Kell. Yes, finally! I was going to have to pay almost $1200.00 out of my pocket; they cut off 200.00 today, and I cut a little more off by asking for a Khumo tire to replace the crappy Eagle ZR245 tire that made me wreck in the first place, so I gotta get 2 more for the passenger side. Screw Goodyear.

Thanks, man.

finally somethnig to look forward to eh marty . Mine should be back in my posession within a month. I am also looknig at kumho tires to replace my bald tires. I have heard some good things about them and they are cheaper then a lot. I am gonig to talk to my dad about getting some 4 lug cobra r's(silvercause there cheap) to make the putside of my car look completely different. If you need new rims get some steeda ultra lights or y2k cobra r's(in silver of course, i guess you can tell what i prefer ) They are pretty expensive though.

James:

I have to keep my stock wheel's for now, it's going to take all my tax return just to get my car out of the shop. Thank God for that, or I would have to take out a loan. There is a lady at work that has a 01GT; she doesn't like her Bullit wheel's but she won't trade wheel's with me.

What's up with this 'hitlist'?

Glad to hear you're getting the Stang back soon! I've been without my stang before for different reasons, but I was always miserable without it. I'm glad for you. As far as a hood scoop design, why don't you post a pic of your hood and let the photoshop guru's do their magic on it and post some ideas.

Default idea for a hood

you stated earlier that you wanted some ideas on a hood, you should make 2 scoops in the middle and have the scoops near the front like a few inches back only, and have it curve up into a cowl induction...... if your that good with fiberglas.....well thats my ideas

Thanks everyone.

I may have hit the lottery today! I called the body shop guy and asked about getting the 01-02 smoked headlights. He didn't think it would be a problem, so he asked me if my car was a 01, he said that's how it's listed. I told him I bought it new in Feb 01. I asked how much price difference between a 01 hood wit dat cool scoop & a '00 hood? He said they were the same price! Yeeehhhaa!!!
I asked him to order the 01 hood & scoop. I may make out like a bandit, plus have an extra hood to play with later.

O.K., I'll shut up.

cya l8ter.
