ah my Canadian brother, it is not your age, it is maple leaf origins. if you think you are a big drinker, try hanging out in the Maritimes some weekend... ha ha my upper Canadian aristocrate.
(man i can't spell)
if you insist on drinking Canadian Club, at least mix it with 7-up. does not kill the flavour of the CC, less sugars, no coco, equals less dehydration, equals less damage to electrolites, equals less hangover.
Myself, I'll be putting back some Lagavulin http://scotch.com/laga.html
I'm in the desert of Phoenix Az. for a while, so, go outside on New Years and huge a true tree for me will ya...?

I've started last night, gonna tonight and tomorrow. Part of my 3day New Year's celebration!! Gotta love all the parties.
Canadian Club with Sprite is a great mix, but nothing beats a cold Canadian or Blue...

7-Up ehhh...

Lucky for me I NEVER get hangovers no matter how much I drink. I think it's because I am blessed or Canadian!

Clean Lx: I'll see what I can do about the tree. The hardest thing will be to find one in all this snow! LOL.

cleanLX,
That's hilarious. I drove a '73 Grand Safari Pontiac station wagon up until '93. It had a 400 with a 4bbl and was green as well. Apparently you were cooler as mine didn't have wood paneling http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif Man that car used to piss people off. Even though it was heavy as sh*t it would still take the occasional Chevy or Ford at the local cruise strip in Omaha. Like my dad always used to say, "It'll pass anything on the road but the gas station."

Sadly enough I kind of miss that car sometimes.

yep, a lot of good times to be had in those things, ski trips, camping trips, driving 15 of your buddies home after the bar closes, and raising eyebrows from time to time with throttle on oversteer...
my buddies used to ask when i was going to take it out of the crate?
Hey mine had an 8-track and third (backwards) row seating, how about yours?

Stefan 01-01-2001 05:06 PM

LOL... take it out of the crate! Mine was known as the Jolly Green Giant. Maybe the '73 models were bigger as the third full seat in the back folded forward not backwards. It was a trip. I didn't have an 8 track it was just am/fm non stereo. The thing was huge and could do monster burnouts. I never had money for a Stang back in high school - insert tear - so the next best thing was the family car. It's sad when you pick a station wagon over a Chevette to take to college. The tranny died in 93 and then got washed away in a flood that same year. I drove a Sundance until I bought my 96 in 1999. I got married in 96 and my wife and I have been working on her 66 ever since. I'm gonna have to see if I have a picture of that ol' Safari somewhere. It would have been an awesome project. I'll post a pic if I find it.

Damn...reminiscing about a station wagon. I've hit rock bottom http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...rd/biggrin.gif

Do any of you read Car Craft?! They used to have station wagons in there all the time when David Freiberger was the editor. I just love stationwagons. Extra fire exits, truck tires, large ammounts of open square footage. http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...board/wink.gif Wow. I have even owned one... 1977 Pinto wagon. I liked it until it left me stranded in the middle of nowhere at 4 in the morning ALONE. Guess I should have got green instead of yellow...... http://www.mustangworks.com/interact...d/rolleyes.gif
