why is it...
Why is it that women seem to get over guys much faster than guys get over women???

Here it is.......
Its like when we go fishing, we catch one lousy fish. But we seem to think its the best, bigest, most overwhelming fish that we have seen in days, weeks maybe years. We even lie about it to our friends. Women catch a fish,,,,,,,, its just a dam fish... They can throw the bastard back in the water without a second thought. And........Theres always "More fish in the sea" Yeah....well NO THANKS. Thats all I have to say about that. |

Joe, think about that for a second. We both know that isn't always true.
I feel for you, REALLY, but like I said, that isn't always true. Take care, -Chris BTW, didn't hear a word tonight.

Joe,
thats not always the case....Guess it depends on the person in general. It depends on what is in your heart and soul, and how deep it is. Some are just destined to have life made alittle more difficult than others. And thats where we fall into...The HARD LUCK CLUB.... I know one day things will work out for you. I hope deep down they do one day! She is a FOOL to do anything but!!!!! And, I truly believe that one day she will come to her senses! My best wishes go out to you that someday things will work out for you! Marty: I LOVE SAM KINNESON!!!!!! (sp?) I've got lots of old videos from when he played 'Dangerfields' Club. HE WAS the man....a life lost too soon!!!!!!! I'll never forget when I had my wisdom teeth pulled,(2 were impacted!) and was on percodain watching him!! He was unique! ONE of a kind! But, I was wasted on pain killers.......he was a funny guy!

Can't say your always right but I do agree that most of the time it's the guy that is more hurt then the woman. I find alot more woman care less if the relationship ends. Seems like woman are ready to go out with another guy right after the relationship ends.
mustangII460 I really like your theory, Very Well Put! Best of wishs, §am.

Sadly the bad out weigh the good. Not in my case, but I see it all the time. Women don't stop and look, they leap. Before they think. And so for them it's easier to get over it.
Now a guy seems to put his whole heart in a relationship before he knows weather the women is serious or not. And thats how they tend to get the short end of the stick. So hang in there, and don't be in a hurry. The right girl or guy will come when you least expect it. Just my 2 cents Odie |

Getting over it
Odie pretty much nailed it but it does cut both ways.
Guys are possessive and once they decide a girl (woman) is theirs, they are 100% into the relationship. Women seem to do the same but as Odie said, they act more on impulse and sometimes for superficial reasons. When something goes wrong or the flame dies down a bit, some women can just quit and walk away but some guys in the same situation seem to take it as a personal failure and a reflection on them as 'a man' and lash out at the woman or others around them, often making fools of themselves in the process while totally driving the woman away forever out of repulsion and fear. Happens a lot. On the other hand, I've seen many guys totally immersed in a relationship - and the woman equally involved - and then, the guy spots another woman (sexier, cuter, whatever) and BAM! It's over with woman #1 as he chases the next one down the road. Just depends on the situation. Some guys just want 'The chase', then lose interest when they 'win' the girl and get bored. Some woman just want to prove to themselves they can attract a man and then they lose interest or are never committed to him in the first place. Sometimes, it's just a mutual loss of passion and each blame the other. Mostly, the men feel that the woman they love is theirs until they say otherwise. Women often feel the same but can move on to another man if rejected without all the drama that some guys go through. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. It's all part of life. |

Thanks for the replies!!! I was in one of those "moods" last night, had a few drinks, and got dramatic all over myself!! LOL
I'm one of those kinds of guys who really tries hard to make a relationship work. Nice guy syndrome. Us nice guys finish last! LOL But sometimes, I get wrapped up in relationships where I'm doing most of the work, and am blind to see signs of failure. I grow attached quick, and hate it when they end. The relationship I'm talking about now, we were best friends, and since it's impossible to see each other realistically, we have to put our friendship on hold for a bit to get rid of the feelings we have for each other, and I guess I'm missing my friend, more than the relationship. (we were together for a year) Yet still feel jealous thinking about her with someone else. (which she isn't yet, but my mind loves to make me think) Life goes on, I got a phone number from a girl I work with who is absolutely beautiful (almost TOO beautiful) and she wants to go out. So we'll see!! Thanks again!

its very simple. guys have a one track mind an can't think of more than one thing at once and accomplish either one successfuly. Girls can. they can be thinking about one thing an then another part of their mind is always thinking about shoes.
