Will this fit?

My dad works at a ford dealer ship and got a brand new cobra tranny for free a few years back. Its a 95 or 96 i think will this tranny fit in a fox body 87-93 gt? Doesnt have to fit perfect just wondering if it can be done.

If it's from a 96 it won't even bolt up. If it's from a 95 it will bolt up, but the shifter is in a different postion. If you need a tranny, just sell the one you have and buy one for a fox body.

No i dont need a tranny i was just wondering because i wanted to put a cobra tranny on. Performance wise
