OK I'm getting ready to reformat my hard drive after collecting 2 1/2 years of 20 gigs of stuff! Wish me luck that most of my stuff will work from win 98 to win xp! I installed it on my other computer which didn't have much on it and it's great! I'm very worried about my DSL drivers working on it!! I hope I can get back online!! LOL But this computer is my main one, and I'm a little apprehensive about it! OK!! After this is posted, I'm gonna reboot and do it!! Here goes nothin!!!!!! :eek:
Next time I post I'll be starting fresh!

Heh I would say ICQ me if you have any problems, but you won't be able to!!!! HAHAHAHAHA Hopefully you figured out how to edit the Network Connection for your Ethernet card and install PPoE if you need it for your DSL service. It can be a ***** sometimes with 2k or XP.

I see that I will have a few (ok, a LOT) of software issues, and hardware issues, but I will see if I can get most of the drivers updated. My DSL had to be updated to the winxp drivers, so after I used the ol' dial-up modem, and having to wait 25 mins for 4 megs (ugh...) I got the new drivers and it's faster than the old setup now. On Win 98 DSL was connecting at 1.4 mbps it's connecting at 2.8mbps now! :) :D I'll have to do a speed test and see what's up!
I actually love installing stuff! That's half the fun of getting a new computer! :)
OK I'm off to mess around!
BTW... so far Win XP rocks! :)

go to www.themexp.org and you can download a crap load of different themes for XP to make it look sweet! Just an FYI you need to download a program first, TGT Sfot Style's XP from http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.html .

You'll love me for it, even more than from FedEx'ing you that CD! :D
