I think it's an Isetta.

Italian 'minicar' with a one cylinder 247cc motorbike engine. Manufactured between 1953 - 1964 (bought by BMW in the mid-1950's).

Some models had only three wheels, some had four.
The three-wheelers were bought to evade heavy Italian taxation and could be driven with a 'limited' license, as they were considered a motorbike, not a car.

Kind of a joke car and a real piece of junk, but an interesting piece of automotive history.

HOLY CRAP!! IT IS STEVE ERKLE'S CAR!!!! Hahaha...that's awesome...I never would have remembered that...

tireburner...did you see the episode where they were fixing that car up and they put a chalkboard in it to write down how fast you "thought" you were going since it didn't have a speedometer? Hahaha.....That show was the coolest......

Eddie (was that the oldest brother, with the flattop?) had a really sweet car. I don't remember what it was though. I think it was purple...and it had a big blower with one of those hood scoops with the butterfly flaps on it that hook up to your throttle. I think it shows the car in the beginning of every show where they are saying the peoples' names. They show him like wiping it off or something I think.....

ahhh....the memories of childhood......

hahahe herherher *snort*....DID I DO THAAAAT?????
