Post Update on the MAC Intake - Not good news!

As some of you know I run www.stangpower.com and I was going to be amoung the first to offer the MAC intake.

I just received word from my supplier that MAC is not releasing until May or June. They want to release the 351 and 302 intakes at the same time.

If you would like to be notified when I get them, send me an e-mail, and I will add you to my list.

Cool

I spoke with MAC about a week ago they told me that they were taking orders in April and the intakes would be in, in June.

To bad, they should have had them ready by april for the start of the racing season.

It is supposed to be very good.

MAC is making me look bad There is now a rumor that the price will not be $300 rather it will be $400. MAC will honor the $300 for the first few weeks because THEY released the wrong price.

That's too bad because they would have sold a lot more intakes had it been $300, instead of $400 or more like the rest of them.

No kidding, I had so many orders lined up, it really pisses me off

I could have retired on this intake LOL

I am sure they will sell out very quickly at $300.

88COBRA,

Just checked out Stangpower. That's a really good price on the MAC TB/EGR set.

Just curious if you've had any problems with 'em.

Anyway, you may be hearing from me soon about an order....

Hey Pilate!

Thanks! I work hard with my supplier to get the best prices on the net.

I have sold a few, with NO complaints. I searched a few of the message boards and they all agree it is a great product!

Hope to hear from you soon!

I just read 5.0 mustang and superfords' article on the MAC intake. The price in the article was also $300. They mentioned because of the low cost of the foundry or something. Is this the error your ref. to?

Thumbs down

Sounds like MAC has come up with a good idea on how to sell there setup quick!! What better idea but to tell people that they will sell the thing at 300 and then come out and say they made a mistake and really will be selling at 400, but will allow some people to buy at 300. I heard that the price will remain around the 300, but will sellout very fast in the first few weeks. Maybe this will become a trend
