Topless: She's okay but went to the hospital from the track. She is busted up, cut and bruised and on crutches for a bruised hip. She was very lucky.

She hit the wall at the traps doing 110mph, she said her tires gave away on her, hit the right side wall and totalled that side of her car and then bounced over and hit the other wall on the other side. Not a good deal at all.

She's very lucky to be alive!!

Cool

Cindy, I seen the wreck at HRP Friday. That's pretty much what happened. I posted on Houston F Body to see how she's doing. You know more than I do. I've known her for awhile. She has a picture of my Pewter 2000 Z28 on her website. I talked to her 30 minutes before it happened.

I obviosly didn't see that because it was in texas but wrecks are not a good thing. At the loclal trank there is on sand at the end just a REAL long stopping area. I had a buudy go through the traps about 106 and the brakes went out. IT is just an 1/8th mile track but he's running a 514 cid n/a motor with no traction. Thats beside the point but the Plunger pulled out ot the back of the brake booster and was just hanging on the brake pedal. Needless to say he ran through the corn field at the far end about 95 mph. and made a perfectly straight line. His name is D. Brown. Naturally his new nickname is Farmer Brown. But he has to put a entire new front cap on the car. Good thing it;s a new car and not painted yet huh.
