![]() Wats up all, my names Danny and i just got a hold of a 89 GT. i really luv the car but i know it has way more potential than wat ive done to it. #1, it has 148,000 easy miles on it. #2 i have added an off road H pipe and a underdrive pulley kit. I was wondering wat was my next couple of steps to increase my power. Maybe you could give me some advice on were i should start restoring since it has such high miles on it. Any thing would be greatly apreciated. Thank you very much

![]() Well, kind of depends what your future plans for the car are...street racer, strong daily driver, drag car, strong cornering, etc.
But,first thing I would recommend for increase in acceleration is a new rear end gear. They don't give an increase in power, but you can really feel the difference when you get into it. I have a 3.73 in mine and love it! |
