Yeah, me too. I went to a car show today and there were some really nice old muscle cars. Stangs, Mach 1's, Camaros, etc. You've all been to one, so I don't need to name them all.

How about a nice blown Firebird?

Sure, I'll 'respect' all that (especially at a stoplight) but you could put the same set-up on a old Mustang (and many have).

The fact that an old Pontiac has a blower set-up is impressive but doesn't say anything special about GM's as a breed.

A blown '68 Firebird? Okay, I'd drive it.

A '53 Chevy with a blown big block? Hell yeah I'd drive that!

Nice ride.

Take care,
-Chris

i like old gm's , but i hate when they put gm running gear in an old ford, one day im getting a chevelle, or whatever & putting all ford running gear in it, then put a huge back decal on the rear window, that say's powered by ford. hahaha

That would be the chit to take to some all Chevy car show or drag day. I'd love to witness the reactions of the other participants and spectators....

You've never put a 6-71 on one, either.

Take care,

true got one i can have? but chevy engines cant hold up long, before i get flamed ive owned more chevy's than anything, that's why im a ford man now, got tired of re-build's & engine change's, thats the fact -jack, my motto on chevy's- they are fast but they just dont last!

I'm not favoring either one. They both have their pros and cons, but it is a simple fact that when comparing the small blocks, the Chevy can handle a blower better than the Ford. It was a engineering flaw made by Ford.

Take care,
-Chris
