Your Hobbie

1 Attachment(s)
The Occupation thing when well, so I decided on a new place to go with all this. List one other hobbie that you enjoy. Here's mine

1969Mach1 12-17-2002 08:46 AM

I don't have many cool hobies like that. Being 18 funds stay low... lol I usually like going to car shows and such. If you exclude cars out of it.
I am either sleeping, going to school... I guess you could say I enjoy playing pool. ;) Although I'd love to get a snowmobile, they are a hell of a lotta fun!

I like to ride too. I don't have my own 4-wheeler, I use my cousin's anytime I want (I put it back together, after blown motor, seized right side piston and took out cylinder).

It is a 95 Banshee (don't really like the colors purple and yellow) but its a free ride.

I also like to hunt any chance I get. I used to be into 4-wheeling with trucks, but that got too expensive.

I love to ride bikes. I used to have a cbr900rr and a cr250r but now as i am older i can't afford all that +a house and a wife:( so I had to sell them. There wasn't a day I didn't do 150mph on the cbr, and I was even a bigger nut on the cr. Man I miss it:( I hope in a couple years I can get another dirt bike if I can talk the wife into wanting a 4wheeler so we can ride together.

Now my thing is My 79 mustang. It is in the the garage now with the motor out of the car and torn apart, the interior ripped out, and a whole lot of dust everywhere from sanding down the fire wall to fill in all the little holes in there.

bigred90gt 12-17-2002 11:18 AM

I would have to say that my hobbies are shooting pool and my car. Almost every day, I go home and tinker around with my car. I shoot in a pool tournament every Thursday night. Other that that, I guess you could say beer is a hobby. I partake in the consumption of beer every chance I get.:D :D

Yopu mean there are other hobbys than cars... Well i like bikes too :p The next closest thing would have to be Pool as well but i don't shoot near as much as i used too if it comes down to 20 bucks for something in the car or 20 bucks for pool the car will win everytime...My friends say i live a real balanced life.:D

I also love to ride 4 wheelers. I've got an old Honda Fortrax 250 that's been rolled, jumped, driven like crazy, and it's still in great shape. Hunting, and fishing are also things I like to do, but cars will always be my first love. :D

Gym/Indoor Sport Climbing

My hobbies are going to the gym/weight training and indoor sport "rock" climbing. :)...

One more pool player here :) We used to have a pool table in our old house but since we moved last winter, the table had to stay :( Ohhh the stories I have about strip pool... :) :)

bigred90gt 12-17-2002 08:08 PM

Strip pool huh? I wonder how well that would fly in the bars? It would probably go over like a ***** in church.

Caymon

tireburner163 12-17-2002 08:14 PM

Being from the south, naturally, I like to hunt and fish.:)

69fastback 12-17-2002 08:21 PM

Heck this is an easy one for me if I am not doing something with cars then I will be playing XBOX and drinking beer that is about all I do. I love to workout going to the gym lifting weights and playing various sports but right now that is part of my job so i don't count that. (ARMY PHYSICAL TRAINING)

That was the beauty of having a table in our basement :) And if you believe it...we had a pole that ran from the floor to one of the cross beams :) So not only did we have strip pool (on rare occasions), but there was also a pole there if anyone (women) wanted to "entertain". Many a drunken night were spent in that basement... Ahh the memories.

88workcar 12-17-2002 09:52 PM

jj- I know you have a telescope, but that is a beautiful hobbie that you have. I also have three telescopes, it's a peacefull hobbie.

silver_pilate 12-17-2002 10:08 PM

Well, when I have time for other things:

I like to shoot (rifles, pistols, clays...anything, really :)).
I collect and throw knives.
I play guitar and piano.
I read.

That pretty much covers it.

:)

I have no idea.

The engine is what's important, the vehicle will come along later.

Maybe a Pinto.

That would come up through the hood pretty far in a Pinto, though. :(

We have like interest.:D
Just recently got into rock climbing, and find it to be a very invigorating pastime. I plan on eventually acquiring my own equipment and heading for the hills. :D
I also enjoy water skiing, but living in IN, makes it a very seasonal hobbie/recreation.

Also, Welcome back Jenn. :)

I have too many hobbies. I couldn't just name one, because I am either doing one or the other.

I like model building, and even go as far as building scale models of buildings, trees, model railroad scenery, diaroma's, and model cars, R/C cars, rocketry, guitar, and fishing. I also get a kick out of playing with graphic design programs such as Photoshop and Flash.
