Default Avitar

Found out that my fire wall was blocking me from seeing pictures on the site. But, I can still not upload and Avitar. Keep getting message that files are too large must be smaller than 140x140 pixels. What type of file do I need to upload an Avitar? I have been tying to up load jpg files as they are the smallest pictures I think. I don't know how to set a file to be less than 140x140 pixels.

Ok, I figured it out. I downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Elements, the latest Photo Shop software from Adobe (not the pro version CS). There is a way of saving jpeg files for the web and you can set the pixil dimensions when you save the file to 140x140 pixils for Avitars. Or you can reduce the quality of the pictures somewhat and get them below the 60k size required for the upload to this site. I sure there is another way but this worked for me

On e-bay you can buy photo Shop 5.0 for $25. The later versions are over $150 to even the low $200's. I think 5.0 will work just fine. Although I have not tried it.
