That reminds me, what does it take to become a "member"?

All it takes to become a Member is to sign-in and get a password. Not so sure about a Senior Member, as I am, and I did nothing that I know of to get it, other then just answer some posts & enter a few of my own...just used the service..
Be safe;

To become a senior member, you have to have an enlarged prostate and keep your teeth in a jar by your bed.

Good thing I only have to type, it's hard to talk with your teeth in a jar! LOL

Jr. member, memberm senior member are all related to the number of times you post, that's all it is.

Once you register, you're a member.

After 30 postings (replies), the system automatically shows you as a 'member' as opposed to a 'junior member'. It has NOTHING to do with the quality of your posts or your age!

Rebel 79:

Dan McClain decides who becomes a moderator, based on availability of the position and whatever criterion he uses for a certain position. Earlier this year, he asked for 'applications' from members who wished to be moderators, and chose the moderators from those who applied for the specific forum positions. I offer some input, but it's totally Dan's decision.

If your interested, e-mail Dan and let him know you're available and why you want to volunteer. He'll take it from there.

Moved to Site Feedback/Discussion forum for (what I hope are) obvious reasons.

This question was never answered...
"How do you become a senior member?"

I just noticed that I am a "Senior Member", but how many posts does it take?

I just changed the whole label scheme. The system now labels anyone who creates an account as a "MEMBER" from the git-go. After you have posted 100 messages, you are upgraded to a "SENIOR MEMBER". Got it?

This lets people know who's been around for a while and actively participates.
